Terms of use

LAST UPDATED: 23 OCTOBER 2026

These terms apply to your use of this website, operated by Metalcast Foundry (Pty) Ltd ("Metalcast", "we", "us"). By using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. Information on this website

The website gives general information about Metalcast, our planned foundry in the Coega SEZ and our products. Metalcast is in pre-production: product ranges, specifications, capacity, employment figures, energy mix and timelines describe our plans and targets and may change. Nothing on the website is a binding offer to supply goods. Quotes, specifications and supply terms apply only when confirmed by us in writing.

2. Forward-looking information

Figures such as design capacity, employment, energy mix and timelines are targets based on current plans and assumptions. They are not guarantees and may change. Nothing on this website is an offer of shares or other securities, or financial advice.

3. Intellectual property

The Metalcast name, logo, text, images and design of this website belong to Metalcast or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own reference, but you may not copy, modify, republish or use them commercially without our written permission.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the website unlawfully, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or its systems, interfere with its operation, or submit false, misleading or harmful information through its forms.

5. Links to other websites

We may link to other websites, such as the Information Regulator or Google Maps. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

6. Limitation of liability

We take care to keep the website accurate and available, but we provide it "as is" and do not guarantee that it is complete, current or error-free, or that it will be uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, Metalcast is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the website. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 where those Acts apply.

7. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always on this page. Questions: info@metalcastfoundry.com.
